Like all great things in my life, my yoga career began with spectacular failure and embarrassment. Within my two week intro at Bikram Yoga Buffalo I came out of Camel pose and vomited all over my mat and towel during a crowded morning class. By the end of that year I completed my first 200hr teacher training in Hot Yoga 26&2. Am I masochist or simply driven to push myself in ways that facilitate growth? My career in yoga has been driven by healing and self discovery. I have cried my way to trainings because I was scared and smiled my way back home. Yoga has helped me navigate the adult world and has been a constant source of joy, creativity and health. Through yoga I have made some of my closest adult friendships and felt a sense of community that connects all living beings throughout space and time.

I have experience in various forms of yoga including, hot, hatha, vinyasa, restorative, Buti, gravity, aerial, trapeze, yin, yoga nidra, trauma informed, adaptive yoga and kids yoga. I like to teach whatever the students in front of me need. I believe that yoga should make you feel good, like spring cleaning, the process may at times be dirty or uncomfortable but the end result is feeling more at home in your body, mind and soul.

I am certified ERYT-200, RYT-500, YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) with over 12 years of experience.
